Bolswards Tribute Newspaper has some breaking sportnews: Flip van Dalen has left team Sprintje bergop. Manager Petsoc said that the release of Flip is just because of the need of money. And then it's just a mather of age. "Flip was a great teammate, but the last days of his career he was a parade race rider. Important for the money, not for the races... Flip van Dalen was offered a job as scout, but he declined. He said he was too young to stop cycling. So maybe we will meet him one day in a race. That would be fun."
BTN asked the manager for the stats of the two young talents. Here they are:
Name: Trond Johannesen (Norway)
Age: 22 years, Birthday: Day 7
Potential:
CL: Good
DH: Average
HL: Small
SP: Small
FR: Average
CB: None
TT: Small
TQ: Small
The second one:
Name: Pascal Van Hoeyvelt (Belgium)
Age: 23 years, Birthday: Day 19
Potential:
CL: Very good
DH: Average
HL: Small
SP: Good
FR: Small
CB: Small
TT: Small
TQ: Average
Trond Johannesen is already in training, Pascal Van Hoeyvelt is given some time to get used to the team. But no doubt about it: both riders is given a great future.

But yes, scouting jobs would be fun for important riders. Even if it was for fun.
